Windows VM having sql server running is facing backup issue after resizing.

Question

I have a Windows VM previously running on the Standard_E8as_v4 series with SQL VM. The memory utilization was around 95%, so I resized the VM to L8as_v3. However, after the switch, the duration of the SQL backup has increased from 1 hour to 3 hours. The backup process is automated and runs locally within the server. Also getting error inside the server like dll, Microsoft-Windows-Perflib, Microsoft-Windows-PerfNet.
