Hi, my name is Scott and I have recently purchased a new PC and can no longer see my Bluesound Vault2i on the network.

I can see everything else such as Blu-ray player and even my Hue lighting.

Was able to see the Vault2i fine using Windows 10, but cannot seem to find it on the new Windows 11 install on the new PC.Have used command prompt to ping the IP, and the packets are all returned, so it is on the network. When I type the IP address into Windows Explored address bar I get 'Enter Network Credentials' and regardless of user and password the system returns the same request for credentials.

I have read that you should type GUEST as the user with no password as the Vault2i does not require a password and again I get another request for network credentials.

Has anyone else had this issue??

Thanks

Scott

    Win11 Pro 25H2

I have the same problem. This didn't fix my issue with connecting to my Bluesound either.

Bluesound referred me to talk to Microsoft to fix this.

Press Win+R keys to open Run menu.

Type optionalfeatures.exe and hit the Enter key.

Scroll down to SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support

Click OK and let it install.

    Reboot your PC.
