Hello,

Please i need your help on this issue.

Deleted a user's EntraID some time ago due to a split mailbox issue, created a new mailbox with same UPN name and restore all data to new SharePoint, OneDrive, Mailbox, but now there appears to be a soft-deleted object confusion issue in Microsoft 365.

Other users sharing and meeting invites persistently reference the old identity of LynaireTo via the ExchangeGuid or Azure AD ObjectId (GUID).

This results in: Access Denied for the user when sent documents or meeting recordings

Persistent M365 object confusion due to backend caching (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Outlook autocomplete, etc.)

This causes Apps like Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive to continue using the old ObjectId or ExchangeGuid in backend references.

We need a method to purge references to the old account GUID no longer in use.  All data has been migrated from the old SharePoint, Exchange Online Mailbox, OneDrive etc.

Please we need assistance to stop the constant Access Denied issues arising from sporadic meetings and documents shared with her.

There must be a way to prevent this?

    Hi @IBN
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on your inquiry, we understand that you have considered to clear all . We will be glad to assist you in this part.

Could you please provide a few information to troubleshoot it:

    1. Have you try to clear your cache and cookies  and try to connect again? This step is needed to force all the app and web reload more accurate and new information.
    2. Could you provide which version exchange you use in current time ?

Please let me know it to trouble shoot it more effectively.
