Hello , Welcome to MS Q&A

If you're having trouble accessing your Azure OpenAI Reservation in the US West region, it might be due to access restrictions in certain Azure regions. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

Check Region Access: Some Azure regions have restricted access. You can view which regions are access restricted by checking the Azure paired regions.

Request Access: If the US West region is restricted, you may need to request access. To do this:

    • Go to the New support request page in the Azure portal.
      • Select Service and subscription Limit (quotas) under Issue Type.
        • Choose the relevant subscription for which you want to request access.
          • Under Quota type, select Other Requests.
            • In the description, specify your request for access to the US West region, including details about your deployment model and resource quotas.
Troubleshoot Access Issues: If you are encountering specific errors, such as server errors or unexpected tokens, you might need to adjust your settings, such as reducing the temperature of your prompts or setting presence/frequency penalties to default values.

For more detailed guidance, you can refer to the Azure OpenAI frequently asked questions and the Azure region access request process.

Pls check and let me know if any ques

    Hi Nguyen Van Quang,

Thank you for contacting Q&A Forum. I would like to provide my findings and proposed solution:

It's important to understand that purchasing a PTU reservation does not automatically grant deployment quota.

Key clarification: To deploy a Provisioned Managed LLM model using PTUs, you must first submit a quota request for those PTUs, even after purchasing the reservation.

    Next steps:

Ensure your reservation is active and in the correct region.

Submit a request to apply for PTU quota through the Azure portal.

You can find the step-by-step instructions here: Provisioned Throughput – Get Started

Once the quota is approved, it will become available for deployment.

Kindly let me know if this work for you and please let me know if you have any further questions.

If I have answered your question, please accept this answer as a token of appreciation and don't forget to give a thumbs up for "Was it helpful"!

    Best regards,

    Chris
