Unable to load file into table.

I'm not able to upload a local csv file into a table. I'm able to click Get Data, choose Local file, and upload the file, but after I click Next to go to the Ingest screen, it closes out of the window all together preventing me from ingesting the file. I perform this action each day and have not had issues in the past. I am part of a security group that has read write access to the cluster so it shouldn't be a permissions issue.

It sounds like you're encountering an unexpected issue during the file ingestion process, especially since it was working fine until recently. Given that you're able to upload the file and reach the "Next" step, but the window closes unexpectedly, this could be caused by a few things:

Here are few suggested troubleshooting steps that might help you:

    1. Try a different browser (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox) to rule out any browser-specific behavior.
    2. Clear browser cache or use an incognito/private window, in case stored session data is interfering.
    3. Test with a different file, such as a small sample CSV, to see if the issue is specific to this file.
    4. If supported in your environment, try ingesting from an Azure Blob or ADLS location instead of local file upload, as a temporary workaround.

Since your access hasn’t changed and you're part of the appropriate security group, this may be a UI or backend regression in the platform.

    To help us investigate further:

    • What platform or tool are you using to perform the upload?
    • Are there any error messages displayed when the window closes?
    • Has anything changed recently in your environment (like updates or new policies)?
    • Can you confirm if this issue occurs with all CSV files or just specific ones?

I hope this information helps. Please do let us know if you have any further queries.
