I want to be able to add my external domain to Entra external domains; however, the domain already exists in Entra and I want it removed. The domain name is xxxxx and the domain account that I am unable to login to because it somehow has MFA enabled is axxxxxxx.

    Hello Anthony G. McMillon,

Please remove the domain from Azure directory and add it into the tenant you want it be. To delete a custom domain name, you must first ensure that no resources in your organization rely on the domain name. You can't delete a domain name from your organization if:

    1. Any user has a user name, email address, or proxy address that includes the domain name.
    2. Any group has an email address or proxy address that includes the domain name.
    3. Any application in your Microsoft Entra ID has an app ID URI that includes the domain name.

You must change or delete any such resource in your Microsoft Entra organization before you can delete the custom domain name.

After that, you can add the custom domain to the new tenant and confirm it.
