Microsoft Store, ElectronJS and code-signing requirements

Hello,

Your answer below will determine whether we enroll as a developer for Microsoft Store.

I represent an early stage startup based in Switzerland. We have an ElectronJS app that we would like to distribute to Windows desktop users. While we are aware of the code signing requirement for public distribution, these certificates are expensive.

If we distribute via the Microsoft Store, do we will still have this requirement, or will the store code sign for us for free? Note that Azure Trusted Signing is not available for our company (Switzerland + < 3 years).
