My IP is Blocked from Microsoft & Azure Services – Request for Delisting

Hello,

My public IP address appears to be blocked by Microsoft’s Azure infrastructure. I’m unable to access multiple Microsoft-hosted services including:

The error message displayed is: “The request is blocked.”

I have attached the error request_blocked.png this is standard across these services (I even have to use a VPN to post here)

I have also attached a traceroute trace.txt

This affects all devices on my network—yet access is restored immediately when switching to a different IP (e.g., via mobile hotspot or VPN).

I have verified the following:

  • My ISP confirms there are no restrictions or blocks on their side.
  • My IP is not blacklisted on any major public IP reputation tools (MXToolbox, HetrixTools, etc.).
  • This issue is reproducible across multiple Microsoft domains and services.
  • Microsoft’s standard support and community forums have not resolved the issue.

I attempted to contact Microsoft via delist@microsoft.com with no luck

Please advise how I can proceed to have my IP restored for access, or whether there is a dedicated escalation path.

Thank you

Hi sorry for the delay I have been away for a few days.

Thank you for the suggestions but unfortunately none have resolved the issue.

    1. The block isn't temporary as this has now been over a month
    2. There has been no IP misuse, I only use Azure for work as a software engineer so will sometimes spawn accounts to check Office365 SSO, that is about it

I have tried the delisting service numerous times but it does not resolve the issue. The service seems to be for email spam only.

I have also directly emailed delist@microsoft.com with no luick on resolving the issue.

The screenshot in the original post shows the error I recieve, a generic request is blocked then Ref A, B, C

My IP is dynamic but does not change as my ISP does not reallocate them often (can be over a year) so its pretty much static at this point

    I haven't recieved a support ticket number.

    Thank you for your response.

Does Azure not have a delist service at all? It seems extreme that they can block an IP for many vital services, it essentially makes even windows unusable because so many of its backend systems use the same service, which is extremely annoying considering the cost.
