Adding a custom domain to my static web site, get a general error: Failed to add custom domain to SWA with error message: An error has occurred.

Created a DNS Zone.
Created a Static Web Site
Added Custom Domain to Static Web Site
Used Azure as DNS
Got the error: Failed to add custom domain to SWA with error message: An error has occurred.
Fought through 6 hours of trying everything the LLMs could suggest
Deleted DNS Zone.
Deleted Static Web Site.
Create DNS Zone.
Created another Static Web Site.
Same Error: Failed to add custom domain to SWA with error message: An error has occurred.

Do you currently have your domain name set to use your domain registrar's name servers? This is the default when you registrar a domain, so if you didn't change it that is what it would be.
If you post your domain in a comment I can do some DNS queries and see if there are any issues. If you want we could remove it from your comment shortly after you post it.
Also, are you wanting to use
www.yourdomain.comfor your static site?Thanks.
