Error when attempting to start a batch job in AI Foundry.

When I attempt to start a batch job using the foundry portal I get the following error:
Unable to create batch job Request failed with status code 400. Trace ID : 2fa24083-dd66-43f7-bcac-0d3c35bb23b2Client request ID : d35e1c1a-b4db-4422-a1df-e4186a686199APIM request ID : 5bec0bdc-f519-44a9-9a5d-0e142a53ab56
When I the python script it just hangs cause I haven't managed the errors yet but I assume its the same problem.
I'm uploading a JSONL file separately from the batch job in the Foundry portal and I've tried UTF-16, UTF-8, and UTF-8-SIG. All different versions upload fine but fail on attempting to start the batch job.
I'm not sure what I've done wrong but any help is appreciated.
Also if anyone has better specifications beyond the file needing to be jsonl and utf encoded I would also appreciate it.
