Hi @Rishi Anand Here's a step-by-step checklist to follow when a personal Azure account can’t attach a Databricks workspace to Unity Catalog.

Workspace Tier & Region: Make sure your Databricks workspace is Premium or Enterprise, and Unity Catalog is supported in your region. Unity Catalog Overview

Metastore Setup: Head to the Account Console, create a metastore in the same region, and assign it to your workspace. Metastore must point to an ADLS Gen2 container with proper permissions.

Identity Federation Enabled: Unity Catalog requires identity federation to be ON for the workspace, you can flip this in the account console under workspace settings. Enable Identity Federation

Storage Permissions: Check that your workspace’s access connector (managed identity) has Storage Blob Data Contributor on the storage container you're using.

Account Admin Role: Needed You’ll need to be a Databricks account admin (not just Azure owner) to do any of the above in the Account Console.

Thanks for using the Q&A platform.
Kindly validate that you have the required permission assigned. To manually attach the workspace to a Unity Catalog metastore, you must be an Account Admin or Metastore Admin to perform the linkage.
