Hello.
We have an Azure Synapse Link with F&O, we want to provide access to one element in the team to he can add tables to Sync in the Synapse Link, but unfortunatelly looks like he only can do this with System Adminsitrator permissions.
Do you know if exists other role in Power Platform to perform this task? I attache a screenshot of the screen where we need him add tables to Sync.

You're correct, currently, managing table selection for D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) in Azure Synapse Link typically requires System Administrator permissions in both the Power Platform (Dataverse) and the F&O environment.
At this time, there is no predefined role in Power Platform or Dataverse that allows a user to add/remove F&O tables for synchronization in Synapse Link without elevated privileges. This is because the table selection process interacts with F&O metadata and sync infrastructure, which is protected by admin-level permissions.
Options you can explore
Custom F&O security role - You may consider creating a custom security role in the F&O environment with permissions to access the relevant tables/entities and manage sync operations. However, even with a custom role, full access to Synapse Link management features may still be limited.
Automation with admin context - If the task is recurring, an alternative could be to use a service principal or automation script managed by someone with admin access to handle table selection, reducing the need to manually involve team members with elevated permissions.
Monitor for feature updates - Microsoft may expand role granularity for Synapse Link over time. Keep an eye on the Create an Azure Synapse Link for Dataverse with your Azure Synapse Workspace for any updates to permissions and role support.
