I got this message 30 mins after creating the account and loading 100$ into it,

"Your access to Microsoft Advertising is currently blocked

We have detected unusual activity in your Microsoft Advertising account. As a security precaution, we have suspended your account and blocked your access.

You can no longer sign in with this user name or email address.

To resolve this issue, please contact Support."

I have never used microsoft ads before, this is insane. I feel like they robbed me of my money. I didn't even do anything.

When i contact support they say they cant even tell me what the issue is.

Can someone please help me resolve this issue?

Thanks,
Matt

It appears to be a coding flaw in their A.I. as to why so many people's new accounts are getting banned or terminated.

These generic responses from Microsoft are a slap in the face; they know full-well that there is not an actual human being going through these applications to start advertising on their platform.

What they can do is, is get a team of people in their tech department or hire a coder to evaluate the bad coding that seems to be populating with these issues so people can actually use their platform, correctly.

That is if they value their consumers, which Microsoft clearly does not.

I say just try using Google Ads instead.

    Hello Matt,

Thank you for using our Microsoft Advertising Community Forum!

I understand from your message that your newly created account has just been suspended.

Generally, there could be a number of reasons why our system would suspend an account. For security reasons, we are unable to provide exact details on why an account has been suspended, but I've compiled a list below of the most common areas where accounts may be out of compliance with our advertising policies.

Please see a list of important policies below to ensure you are following them.

Our support teams are happy to discuss your account in more detail via phone, chat or email to provide review assistance, please see our support page to reach out!

I hope the information provided here will at least partly answer your question.  If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our support. I have also sent you a private message asking for further details. You are more than welcome to respond to me so that I can begin the investigation on my end.

    Kind regards,

    Arsen D | Microsoft Advertising Support Specialist | 800-518-5689

That's the issue, I haven't broken any of those policy's, I didn't even finish setting up my account. I spoke to someone on chat and they said I'm not even able to appeal! I'm just a new business' owner in the US who has never used your platform, I'm trying to hand you money and I'm instantly banned! I don't understand! I Don't understand what I did wrong, what the issue is, or how to proceed with recourse of resolving the issue. I just want to use your platform. Every thing I provided is legitimate information. How can you just ban someone who hasn't even done anything on their account? especially with no recourse for action.

What am I supposed to do here?! I see so many people in this forum who have the same issue and they get the same copy pasted response.

    Please help me,
    Matt

    Hi Andre,
thanks a lot, this is the most reasonable and making sense statement I read in the forum. Thanks again.

My account was blocked for no reason, just like that...I had my website connected for years, but I decided to use Big Commerce Channel Manager and reconnect it(and that was recommended by Microsoft customer service, even she asked the supervisor to approve it because she didn't know what to do)...and I was blocked, exactly the same reason...

"Your access to Microsoft Advertising is currently blocked
We have detected unusual activity in your Microsoft Advertising account. As a security precaution, we have suspended your account and blocked your access.
You can no longer sign in with this user name or email address...."
SAME ACCOUNT, AND THE SAME WEBSITE...BUT SUDDENLY, I WAS BLOCKED!!!

And when I contacted customer support..." For privacy and security reasons, we cannot provide details about your specific account closure but the account was determined to be high risk to other customers or advertisers..." I couldn't believe it...It was like a joke to me...That's so funny!!!

Andre, you are absolutely right...guys stay with Google Ads

Same happened to me trying to open two different accounts to get around it and as soon as I finish signing up and trying to input my payment method I get banned. Submitting an appeal does nothing. I don't think they actually have a review team. It is incredibly bad Business practice for Microsoft and they are going to go under for it.

Try Propeller Ads. They are cheaper and more lenient.

    Hi.

I also have encountered this problem with two personal accounts and even a business account that appeared to be working for 3 days and now has this same old, lame, boring and utterly useless message. The answers from their supposed support is also always the same and leads to ZERO results. The live consultants are better but also cannot do anything to help. I would seem as if Microsoft Advertising does not care or does not even want any new business. As a newcomer to CPA marketing, this is very disheartening and frustrating as even the simplest to fix mistake or issue results in a banned account. And when you do do everything rite, even then you get banned. I would never recommend this experience to anyone.

    Regards

    G. H. V,
