Hi Snassnm
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Advertising Community Forum! My name is John and I will be assisting you with this query.
I understand that you wanted to know other ways to find the Microsoft Click ID. Please note that this is not available on the reporting interface of your Microsoft advertising account.
msclkid****is generated at ad click time and appended to the landing page URL when auto-tagging of Microsoft Click ID is enabled. It should be stored in a first party cookie and sent along with other UET parameters.
Format: GUID followed by extra byte indicating whether the current value is a new one (unique to that session), as in "cdd4afcccb1c9a4cad9544dd7e5006d5-1".
If you wish to enable the auto-tagging of Microsoft Click ID you can follow these instructions below.
Auto-tagging of Microsoft Click ID
In order to ensure that both URL tracking and conversion tracking are accurate, it's important to review your URL options and enable auto-tagging of Microsoft Click ID (MSCLKID).
- From the collapsible menu on the left, select All campaigns > Settings > Account level options. If you're using the new Microsoft Advertising navigation, from the navigation menu on the left, hover over Campaigns and select Settings > Account level options.
- Select the Add Microsoft Click ID (MSCLKID) to URLs to allow conversion tracking checkbox.
- Select Save.
Our support teams are happy to discuss your account in more detail via phone, chat or email to provide review assistance, please see our support page to reach out!
