My guess would be a GPO that restricts writing anything to an external device.
Access Denied when copying files to a USB/External HDD on Win10
I have this problem for quite a while now. I tried searching the internet with possible solutions.
So far here are the things I have I tried but it is still the same:
1.) Changing my current profile to Admin. (I have done this multiple times and I assure you that my current settings are Admin).
2.) I changed some registry entries and did some restart. Nada.
3.) Tried doing the copying within command prompt. Nada

My laptop is Windows 10 Enterprise, an office laptop. My concern is that I cannot seem to copy anything from laptop --> to any external drives/usb. However, copying things from my external drive --> laptop seems to work fine effortlessly. That's why I am on limbo for many months now.
I would give a virtual hug for someone who can really help me on this. :3

Firstly, please check if the USB drive has write-protection feature, if yes, we are unable to move files to the external drive.
