When I create a Teams meeting in a channel are all the members of that channel automatically invited or do I need to manually add them? It appears that I need to add them manually when I schedule a meeting in teams but can use a distribution list in outlook. but cannot use a tag list or member list in teams meeting.

Sure. If user schedules a meeting in some channels, it will be sent to all the members in the channel. You could delete the channel from the red box and add required attendees in the orange box as needed.

Big issue here is that if you have a channel of 100 members and you schedule a meeting WITHOUT removing the channel, it wil go to all 100 members. This is an issue for my company because employess keep forgetting the remove the channel before sending out the metting request.

Question: Is there va way to stop the channel from been added automatically to all new meetings?
