Surface Precision Mouse horizontal scrolling

Question

Anybody know how to enable or customise horizontal scrolling on Surface Precision Mouse? I have installed Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Centre. But couldn't find anywhere to enable or customise horizontal scrolling.

Comparing Surface Precision Mouse and Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Mouse 3600 on Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Centre, the Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Mouse 3600 has a wheel horizontal scrolling setting but no wheel horizontal scrolling setting for Surface Precision Mouse.  See below Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Mouse 3600 has a wheel horizontal scrolling setting:

But according to Surface Precision Mouse specs, the is a horizontal setting:

So, wondering the Surface Precision Mouse has not horizontal scrolling feature or need to go somewhere to enable or customise horizontal scrolling.

Hi BSHOW,

You can press the scroll wheel and then physically move the mouse to either side to enable horizontal scrolling. The scroll wheel can’t be nudged from left or right, nor spin the wheel to navigate horizontally.

If the horizontal scrolling still does not work, we suggest that you run the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit. The toolkit runs a series of tests to diagnose your Surface device.
