Can I migrate Mailboxes from a Dial-Tone Database to O365 exchange Online.

The Dial tone database is a temporary database for Exchange server, you need to follow this article below to merge dial tone database into a restored database. Then this mailboxes will be a full function mailboxes.

After that, you can migrate mailboxes from Exchange on-premises to Exchange online in many ways: such as hybrid migration, cutover migration.

    Thank you. it was helpful.
    I plan to move the mailboxes from the dailtone DB to a new Database because the old Database could be recovered. I had to use a 3rd party tool which automatically restores the mailboxes into the dialtone DB.
