Surface Book 2 Keyboard adding extra characters when I type

Today is a good day to wear pants over my legs - typed using the touch keyboard

Todaye ise ae goode daye toe we are pantse ove re mye l/e gs - same sentence typed with my Surface Book keyboard

See the issue?

It started randomly and there has been absolutely no damage to the Surface or keyboard. It also comes right on its own sometimes, but only for a while before it breaks again.

I've done driver updates, driver removals, Windows updates, a complete reset to the latest version of Windows was also done. After the reset of Windows the keyboard worked fine for two days before it broke again.

I'm pulling my hair out here, it's driving me nuts. Warranty expired 30 days ago.

I used a keyboard testing website and it said that when I press the L key, it also presses the / key.

Anyone else getting this?

    Cheers!

This device has already been replaced twice before. But it looks like my warranty has been extended. Yay.
