Before Last update to the new Feature update to Windows 10, version 20H2 Successfully installed on ‎12/‎6/‎2020. Every time I imported photos from our iPhones, it would import photos into their own folders according to their months/dates. Did not have to select anything but the path that was pictures. Now, not changing any path, it imports photos into pictures but does not create its on folder by the month/dates. Just imports to the pictures. with no specific folder. When I open pictures now, past that update date, they are just imported to the pictures file with no corresponding folder. Attached is a screen shot of how it supposed to import. Otherwise its just pictures imported solely to pictures. I would show a screen shot of it, but that's to personal. What happened???

    Hi,
Per searching, some users reported that they've experienced similar problem like yours: the photos are being dumped into the pictures folder without date folders being created.

1.Kindly test the suggestion shared in below link: restore the old import wizard of windows 7
    • Open the wizard writing this in the windows Run dialog:
    • rundll32.exe "C:\Program Files\Windows Photo Viewer\photoAcq.dll",PhotoAndVideoAcquire
    • To make the option always available in the AutoPlay dialog, run this in an admin command prompt:
    • cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Photo Viewer" regsvr32 PhotoAcq.dll regsvr32 PhotoViewer.dll

2.Report this behavior via feedback hub in Windows 10 for product team to check and review further.

I have read this report, the behavior has been changed and in general it is recommended to use Photo apps to manage and view images. However, in case this is a concern, the best way would be sharing your concern through Feedback Hub app as you did.

Now after the latest windows update Windows 10, version 21H1, I have to rerun the command prompt to restore this feature.
