My surface pro screen is showing a mark that does not disappear. I believe it is a burn mark but I am not sure. I am concern it will spread and my hardware will malfunction. Please advise.

    Hi vinsyszeto,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Community and posting your inquiry.

To verify if issue is related to hardware or software, please boot the device to the UEFI settings and replicate if the issue also happens on the UEFI settings. Turn off the device > press the volume up button and the power button for 15 seconds. Once you see the Microsoft logo, release the power button. > then check if the screen marks are still visible.

If the screen marks are still visible on the UEFI settings, this could be a hardware problem.

    Kind regards,

    John Neil_J
