Conditional Formatting Not Working on SQL Server 2017

I have created a report with different drill downs all with database driven conditional formatting, however as can be seen in the screenshot one of the levels isn't working on the server (this works on my local laptop), when the report is first run that level isn't expanded.

I have seen a fix for this for other SQL Server versions but not for SQL Server 2017.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

Andrew

    Hi @Andrew Tunnicliffe ,

    Couldn't fully understand your issue.

Do you mean that the report is well showing in your laptop but in other pc it doesn't work?

If you have set the row visibility of display can be toggled by the report item, the level will not be expanded unless we click it.

Could you give more details about the issue? If possible you may show us the design sample and the conditional formatting expression.

For the fix of SSRS2017, you may click the SQLServerReportingServices.exe application like shown.

    Hi @Andrew Tunnicliffe ,

Thanks for your detail message of the issue.

Could please help to run the report in other browser to see if the issue will occur or not?

I tested it in my machine with SSRS 2017, things work fine.

You may download the report rdl from web portal and open it in notepad to check if there is expression you set or not .

Please also try to create placeholder over text and then setting it to render HTML.

Noticed that SSRS2017 has a newest release 14.0.600.1669, if possible, you may upgrade to the newest release.

    Regards,
    Zoe
