office 2019 programs very slow when try to open a shared location on new server 2019 after migrating

office 2019 programs very slow responding when try to open a shared location on new server 2019 after migrating from server 2008r2. We have my document pointed to f:\users\username. it will open after a delay compare to set it to c:\user\user name.

what we have.

Migrated from windows 2008r2 to 2019 std.

The map drive f: and g: to shared folders on the servers

User ABC documents is set to f:\users\abc.

Excel and Word 2019 is set to save file to f:\users\abc

login script map f: drive to new server shared data.

Issue.

When the user access Excel or Word which had been configured to save Data to f:\users\abc the screen takes about 15 to 30 Sec. delay to popup.

When I set the save location to c:\users\abc the screen op up very quick in less than few seconds.

I checked the DNS to point to the new server and I'm able to go to Documents in explorer and access files very fast as well when I launch documents and excel files it open programs with files very quick.

Open documents and spreadsheet from explorer that is located at my document that point to f:\users\abc is fast
I'm not using and Group Policy and not doing Folder sync we are only pointing the documents location to be the user home location on the server.

    Is there any other software that can save the data to the shared folder, or open the shared location?
    If yes, please do it for a test.
    Please also check whether useing UNC path has the same issue.

    From the perspective of Office, it is recommended to add this shared location to a trusted location.
    Such as in Word, please go to File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Trust Locations > Add new location.

    In addition, please try the steps mentioned in article "An Office program is slow or may stop responding (hang) when you open a file from a network location".

    The UNC path fixed the issue. Adding the location to trusted location didn't do any change. Adding EnableShellDataCaching to registry helped Word on 1 system but didn't do any change in Excel or 2nd computer.
