I have a Surface Pro 4 and the mouse pointer is stuck in the right corner and doesn't work, even the touch screen doesn't work properly. I am sure that my keyboard and touchpad are healthy because I tested with another keyboard. I tried almost all the methods but I didn't get an answer. Thank you for your help

    Hello, bardiakv.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community!

You can try going into the UEFI settings to see how your touch screen behaves:

How to use Surface UEFI - Microsoft Support

You can only adjust UEFI settings when the system starts. To load the UEFI firmware settings menu:

    1. Turn off your Surface and wait about 10 seconds to make sure it's turned off.
    2. Press and hold the volume up button on your Surface, then press and release the power button at the same time.
    3. The Microsoft or Surface logo appears on the screen. Press and hold the volume up button. Release the button when the UEFI screen appears.

If you can't do anything by touch in UEFI, then we can be sure it's a hardware issue with the screen.

For hardware issues we would normally recommend that you get in touch with the Surface Technical Support team, while the Surface Pro 4 has now been discontinued globally and Microsoft no longer offers out-of-warranty repairs for it.

You may want to consider obtaining a brand new unit, right now it's Christmas time and there may be some wonderful deals available.

If you are looking to acquire a new Surface device, I am sharing the following link with you here:

If your touchscreen still works in UEFI, then you are in luck and we will continue to troubleshoot the issue at the system level.

You can try to force reboot the device and troubleshoot potential driver issues and maintain device performance by installing the drivers:

    1. Press and hold down the power button until your Surface shuts down and restarts and you see the Windows logo screen (about 20 seconds), then release the power button.
    2. After your Surface restarts, we recommend you get the latest updates for Surface and Windows to help make sure your device is performing at its best. For more info, see Download drivers and firmware for Surface.

The above steps usually work if the problem originates with the driver.

If the problem persists, as a final troubleshooting suggestion, you can try a fresh install of your device. You may also have the opportunity to back up some of your data.

Of course, a fresh install will solve the problem originating from the system:

These are some of the ideas I can share with you at this time.

I wish you all the best.

    Best Regards.
