Hi there, Aman! This is Marc. Thank you for reaching out to the community.
Thanks for providing those details. Based on what you've described, here are a few approaches we can try.
First, restart your laptop. Sometimes a quick restart can fix minor issues like this.
If that doesn’t help, check if the keyboard is disabled in Device Manager:
Press Windows + X, then select Device Manager and under Keyboards, see if your laptop keyboard is listed. If you see a yellow triangle or exclamation mark, right-click it and try Update driver or Uninstall device (then restart your laptop to reinstall the drivers automatically).
Also, make sure that your laptop isn’t stuck in tablet mode since this can disable the keyboard. To check, swipe in from the right side of the screen to open Action Center and make sure Tablet mode is off.
If it’s still not working, try using an external keyboard (USB or Bluetooth) to see if the issue is with the hardware itself.
Lastly, check for Windows updates under Settings > Update & Security. Sometimes, a system update can fix driver-related problems.
Let me know if any of this works, or if you need more help troubleshooting!
Best,
