Touch Screen Problem, Ghost Touch in left corner

Hello everyone,

I have a Microsoft Surface Book for a month, but today out of nowhere, on the left side of the screen, the touch circle keeps on appearing, not allowing me to work or even click on anything, and the screen is practically non responsive. I tried reseting, the problem still exists.. I updated everything, still.. I read that it is a known problem.. and I tried to contact mcrosoft support. I followed the whole procedure, and then I wanted to choose either chat or call back, but I click on the buttons and nothing (both from phone and another laptop). 

My laptop is my work, and I cannot work nor study, and the project deadlines keep on running. I cannot stay without a laptop for more than one day and not being able to contact support is very frustrating.

Hi,

If nothing happened, even if you already installed all the necessary updates, and have reset your Surface Book, please try to do the following: 

1. Two-button shutdown
2. Disable and enable the touchscreen driver
3. Reinstall the touchscreen driver
4. Reset touchscreen calibration
5. Check for electromagnetic interference
