Almost 10 months ago After an system update my touchscreen problems started.

first it was some dead areas , then deadthick vertical and horizental lines , and now when windows is launched there are 6 bubbles that i have to touch them to activate my touch pad and when the touch pad starts working there is no touchscreen at all!!!

I've tried all the solutions (Checking for updates-Uninstall and reinstall touchscreen drives and etc.) and this is my third time making a new "ask a question" but didn't get any support!!!

due to Sanctions there is no online chat supports .... what should I do? just through my device into the trash cause I can't Contact Microsoft support team?

    Hi Tannaz Rasekh,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. We're sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. Definitely not the experience we want you to have.

To isolate the issue with your Surface device, boot to UEFI and test touch functionality. Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) is a type of software that helps Windows communicate with your Surface’s hardware.

    1. Go to Start > Power > Shut down.
    2. When Surface is off, press and hold the volume up button and press the power button until a Microsoft or Surface logo appears onscreen.
    3. Once you are in UEFI, touch your Surface screen and see if it responds normally. Try to navigate in UEFI by tapping various menu items.

If touch does not work in UEFI, your device likely has experienced a hardware failure and needs servicing. You can submit a service order to Microsoft to access available repair or replacement options. Go to Device Service and Repair, register, and then select your Surface to start a service order. Or contact our live support team to check options for your device and assist you further with the process. You may reach them using the Surface App following the instructions below.

    1. Open the Surface App and select Help & support > Get help.
    2. Type in the problem you need help with.
    3. Look at any available solutions offered and select Contact Support.

    Or via web:

    1. Go to Contact Us - Microsoft Support and select Devices.
    2. Choose your preferred support method.
    3. Type in the problem you need help with.
    4. Look at any available solutions offered and select Contact Support.

    Kind regards,

    Lavenia
