Touch Keyboard doesn't open automatically

I have a Surface Pro 4 and I upgraded to The Creators Update and now the keyboard doesn't open automatically. Can someone help me?

There are several reasons why the on-screen keyboard no longer opens automatically. One of these can be associated with incompatible or outdated keyboard drivers. Another possible reason is a certain setting that has been disabled.

• Are there any other devices connected to your Surface Pro 4 while you're using the Touch keyboard?

To begin with the process of resolving your issue, let us make sure that the Touch keyboard is activated on your Settings by following these steps:

1. Switch to Tablet mode.
