School email does not work as Microsoft log in on my laptop

Hi. On my laptop I want to log in with my school (university) account. Microsoft gives an error that the username is incorrect and I should contact my admin. I dont get it, its my school account I should be able to log in

    I found out my university does not pay for the account, so I understand now why logging in went wrong. Thanks for the help.
