exchange KB update CU version

My exchange version is exchange 2016 cu7

Received notification, need to update KB CVE-2020-17117, CVE-2020-17132, CVE-2020-17141, CVE-2020-17142, CVE-2020-17143,

But Microsoft only released msp for exchange 2016 cu17 & cu18,

I want to know if there is a need to update the version before exchange 2016 cu 17?

or I need to upgrade exchange 2016 cu7 to exchange 2016 cu17 first, and then update the KB
