Display cut off

Hello,

I recently downloaded the sims and I changed my resolution in game. When I left the game, the sides of my screen are now black bars. How do I reset/fix this? I tried going back into the game and going onto the default res but it didn't change anything.

    Thank you for reaching out Microsoft Community. We will be more than glad to assist you.

    To try and fix the issue, you may try uninstalling and reinstalling the display driver.

    Open device manager

    Expand display adapters

    Double tap on the current driver installed

    Select driver and click uninstall

    Click Ok and restart the device to reinstall the driver

    If the issue persists after trying the above steps, Try uninstalling "the sims"

    Open Apps & Features

    On the right pane scroll down

    Select the app / game and click "Uninstall"

    To redownload the app /game

    Open Microsoft store app and search for the app / game

    Click install to own the game

    Launch the app / game

    Kindly check if that will work.
