apk generated from xamarin doesn't work i have an error: app not installed

Hello ,
i am doing an app with xamarin with a map , i have followed these steps :setup

when i generated the apk following these steps :release-prep

by the apk i couldn't install the app from the apk and when i run the app from the visual studio it works well .
i need help please.

I think you can take a look to "logcat", you should find the problem there

i don't know where is logcat because it's on the phone after generating the apk.

sorry i'm a newbie in xamarin . would you please tell me where can i put the logcat , i know it in android native but not in xamarin. thank you

You don't have to put, you have to "get".

Take a look to documentation. You must have "adb" on your PC and get the logcat from your phone (you can also use Android Studio to get it). Xamarin apps are native apps, so they write their logs to logcat

sorry i think that you didn't get what's exactly my problem ,
my problem is when i connect my phone with my pc and i copy the apk in my phone and then i disconnect my phone from my pc.
so now i have my phone with the apk without the pc. when i want to install the app from the apk i get the error .

I have understand your problem.

You have to connect your phone to your pc, execute "adb logcat" (follow the manual) and download the logcat file from your phone to your pc, than take a look to the logcat
