Cannot login through Bing App

I cannot sign in via the Bing App on my Android phone. I have already cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled. It wants me to use Authenticator, but I cannot sign in with that either. When I try to get a link from my email, I get no response, it will not allow me to sign in with a code from a text.

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

The Community is public, and we can only provide information. It is beyond our capability to assist directly with the account or login-related issues.

Just to confirm, are you able to access your email inbox normally outside of that app? And have you checked the Spam or Junk folder, just in case the code landed there?

If you haven't tried anything yet please start here "Troubleshooting verification code issues" https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/t...

If issue persists please contact Microsoft support via live chat:

    Here is the link: https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact

    > Type this keyword and press Enter: Contact Support.

    > At the bottom, click "Sign in to contact support" and sign in with your personal Microsoft account, or click "Contact Support" if you're already signed in.

    > In Product and services, select "Windows".

    > In Category, select "Technical support."

    > Click "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".

If you ever find yourself stuck in a loop, please use the keywords "Contact Support" or "Live Chat" (without the quotes) and click "Contact Support" at the bottom.

I really hope this information is helpful!

Should you need further information please let me know.

Yes, I can access a third-party email, but am unable to verify with a text message. Would disabling two-step verification solve this? How do I do this?

Thank you for letting me know.

You won’t be able to disable two-step verification unless you have full access to your account online.

If you do have access, I’d recommend setting up the Microsoft Authenticator app: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-bil...

Alternatively, you can try using your Microsoft account recovery code: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-bil...

If you don't have access to your Microsoft account you can unblock it using this steps: https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/a...

    > You can use any phone number to request the security code.

    > The phone number doesn't need to be associated with your account.

Should you need further information please let me know.
