Phone number registration problem

This question has been posted elsewhere but so far no workable answer. I am trying to redeem reward points, and in the past verification codes were not required. Now they are, and even though I have a phone number registered to my Microsoft account, it says I don't. Maybe they're two separate accounts I don't know but I click add a phone number, register my phone number in my rewards account, it said it sent a verification code but I don't get one. I have turned off the block unknown numbers setting in my text app. I've tried this over and over. I've sent three requests for support from Microsoft Rewards support and only got one reply with nothing resembling a solution. Has anyone else had this problem and do you have a solution?

    Hey there!

Nice to meet you! I'm Darhyl, an Independent Advisor. I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Microsoft Rewards phone verification. No worries, let me help you sort this out.

I understand that you have also turned off the "block unknown numbers" feature from your phone, yet the issue still remains. Kindly try to perform the following workarounds:

    1. Check if there are any account problems: Make sure there are no issues with your Microsoft Rewards account. Check your account settings and see if there are any warnings or notifications about your account.
    2. Use a different device or internet connection: Try redeeming your rewards from a different device or internet connection, such as a different computer or a mobile device using cellular data instead of Wi-Fi.
    3. If none of these works, I would highly recommend you reach out to Microsoft Rewards support again as they have the tools and resources to properly investigate this case. Explain the steps you've already taken. Hopefully, they'll be able to offer a solution or escalate the issue to a higher level of support. You may reach out to them using this link:

Thank you for your kindness and understanding! Is there anything else you would like to know?

    Best regards,

    Darhyl
