Azure App Service Backup failes

Hi, we have scheduled Azure App Service backups mon daily basis using the functionality provided by Azure App Service, it backups App Services and related databases. We have been having some of the backups failed due to "One or more unsupported elements were found in the schema used as part of a data package." But we checked our databases, they are the same for each environment. We are not able to get more details expect the only message I just mentioned, could you help us to find the root cause of this problem?

My colleague replicated the error on the local machine and now are seeing more information about the error.

We also found out the related solution.However, the solution involves using scripts before backup, is it something we can achieve using Azure App Service backup?

If it fails it may give you an message pointing to the problem. Here are few of the documents that you can follow. Document1 and document2
Additional reason for this from the looks of the error is that you have remnants of an Azure Data Sync. You need to go to support for checking what Sync groups you had and remove them if not required.
