Searching for connection, Error code:E010026

All day today I haven't been able to use copilot. When I click the copilot button I get a message that says "searching for connection." After about 30 seconds of this it times out and says "Apologies, but we're experiencing some issues right now. Please try again later. (code:E010026)." I searched for this code but did not find any results.

Edit: I solved this problem by manually updating the app in the app store and signing out and back in.

    How do I change password in Bing application?

    I changed my microsoft password the other day. Now I have problems connecting to copilot app on android. I have cleared cache and data. I have reinstalled the app. I have even tried signing into my account using my new password after reinstalling the app. Nothing is working.

    I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue with the Copilot app. Have you tried restarting your computer then try using Copilot again to see if the error disappears? Also, please ensure Windows is updated to the latest version. Go into Settings > Windows Update > Check for Updates and install available updates.

    If the problem still persists, you can try repairing the Copilot app and check if it helps. Go into Settings again > Apps > Apps & features > Scroll down and look for Copilot app > Click on three dots and select Advanced options > click Repair then check if the problem is resolved. You can also try resetting the app. Do the same steps, under Advanced options, click Reset then verify the result. Let me know how it goes. Thank you.

    Bonjour j'ai exactement le même souci avec même code erreur.

    Depuis connexion sur mon téléphone et sur ordinateur.

    Je me suis du coup connectée avec une adresse mail différente, et le problème est identique. Code erreur E010026 ..

    J'ai aussi vidé le cache, rien ne se résoud.

    Hi.

    I had the same problem. It turned out that I changed my email account password but forgot to change it in the Bing application. Once I did this, the problem disappeared.
