Windows mail app top bar missing

When I open the mail app, the top bar is missing as in the image and I can see the desktop.

How can I get the top layer of the app?

VM EDIT: please don't post email addresses and personal information that spanners can use, I have removed the picture.

    On my Lenovo Edge E590 the Alt F4 turns on and off the microphone.  It does not close a window.
    Build 21313.

    Try Alt Fn F4. It depends if the user has a laptop and set function keys to on.

    Please use the Insert Image button instead of pasting. Also, to close a window anywhere, press Alt+F4 keys.

    Hi JaliyaAmarasinghe,

    Trying using the ESC key and check with the Store there is not an update for Mail.
