X64 Emulation is only available for Windows Insider Builds 21277+. It would come to a stable release in the upcoming releases of Windows 10.

I am trying to install the x64 emulator from

as recommended by this blog:
on my Surface Pro X but get the following error during installation, please advise:

As Sumit stated, you must be running an Insider build in the the Dev Channel of 21277 or higher. The build you are on is a retail release, and not Insider. As for if/when it may come to retail, we have made no announcements as of this time.
