Insider Copilot Missing Some Toggles

Question

Copilot Insider version is missing the toggles in its Settings for Phone connection and Press to talk. I cannot find out, definitively if they are CFRs or not (??). I do have Alt+Space working with Copilot. These should be there even if the VM doesn't see or have a mic connected. Phone Link is connecting in the IB.

Fun with 'putters 🤣 A wee bit later it has the Press to talk but is, still, without Phone connection, which should be at the bottom, last item. These things are, obviously, CFRs.

One interesting, cool thing about Press to talk... Copilot (window) does not even need to be open when it is used.

I see a new version on my Windows 11 Public Build.

The Icon in the system tray only has the Quit option. 🤷‍♂️

This is on but does not work. Alt + Spacebar does nothing. 😵‍💫😂🤷‍♂️

It started working after a reboot. 🤷‍♂️

True and agree. It, actually, has more 'issues' than Insider. Maybe the Quit only is on purpose BUT now its Settings doesn't have Press to talk. At the last, the Insider did. And now, in GA, even with it toggled On, Alt+Space is dead.

Seems more reporting is necessary 🙄😖

Ok, just pulled it from Store

Settings is missing Press to talk and Phone connection.

Had to turn the Sys Tray icon On, again, when I noticed it wasn't there after opening (new) Copilot.

I concur, Alt+Space does not, is not working. AND someone in their infinite wisdom seems to have decided Open full view and Open quick view at the Sys Tray icon are not needed. Might be, almost, true if Alt+Space was, actually working 🙄

I will look into this immediately. Have you, already, remapped Alt+Space?

I was trying to have them fix the Quit only part before it went public. 😖

Also, I am sure you have noticed GA Store has lost the update messages.

Yes, as we suspected they just went to GA before fixing anything.

Not surprised with MS recently.

What is the point of insider testing if they go to GA regardless of the bugs? 🤣🤣🤷‍♂️
