Add features to Windows 10 entry while using Windows 11 Canary

Windows 11 Canary Channel.

Booted up Canary channel a few moments ago and was greeted with Windows Copilot on my desktop.

So I asked CoPilot how to disable it. Was directed to GPEDIT to disable CoPilot.

In GPEDIT there was an entry "Add features to Windows 10" Windows 10 ???? I thought we were on Windows 11 !

Will MS ever officially switch everything over to Windows 11? Heck 99% of their drivers show 2006...what was that Windows Vista era ?

    Hello,kirbster 1

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community.

Understanding that you can see "Add Features to Windows 10" and "2006 Drivers" in the Group Policy Editor is normal.

The Group Policy Editor contains setting options for many different versions of Windows operating systems, so you will see some options for features related to previous versions as a result of compatibility and administrative flexibility considerations. And there are some drivers that show 2006 because that's when they were released, and these types of drivers often don't need to be updated in order to safeguard the computer. You don't need to worry too much about this, it's normal.

If you have any other questions or need further assistance, please feel free to let me know and I wish you all the best.

    Best Regards,
