    Hello Rylie,

It sounds like your computer may be experiencing a hardware or software issue. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Check if your hard drive is properly connected to your motherboard. If it's not, reconnect it and try booting up your PC again.

Try resetting your BIOS settings to default. If resetting the BIOS settings doesn't work, you may need to update your BIOS firmware. You can usually find the latest firmware on the manufacturer's website.

If none of these steps work, you may need to reinstall Windows on your PC. You can do this by creating a bootable USB drive with the Windows installation files and booting from it.

    Regards,

I had a similar problem a while ago. As Johnny points out, your PC is having problems finding the place on your C: drive with the boot info either because of hardware (drive errors do occasionally happen) or software. What I did was to download a Windows install disc image from the Microsoft web site, put it on a DVD and boot from it. There's an option when you do that to run hard drive diagnostics that in my case fixed the problem. That might work for you as well.

If you aren't running Windows, what is your OS?
