Title: Multiple Issues with Windows: Search Bar, Shortcut Keys, and Updates Not Working

Hi Microsoft Community,

I'm facing several issues with my Windows system, and it's becoming quite frustrating. Here are the main problems I'm encountering:

  1. Search bar in the Start Menu is not working — I can't type anything in it.
  2. Keyboard shortcuts like Win + Period (.) and Win + H are not working at all.
  3. Windows Updates are not downloading or installing properly — either stuck or showing errors.
  4. I’ve noticed other minor glitches as well, like occasional lag and unresponsive apps.

I’ve already tried restarting my PC and running basic troubleshooters, but nothing has worked so far.
Could someone please guide me on how to fix these issues or suggest any tools or steps I should try?

    are you on?

    What Insider Channel are you in?

    What is the make & model of your PC?

    Is your PC Windows 11 compatible?
