Update error - Install error - 0x80070103

Question

I'm getting Windows Update error - Install error - 0x80070103, please help

I am having Windows 11 Pro Insider Preview (Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100).

The Windows Update process is now disable and I restarted my Laptop couple of time but no luck.

Please help.

The issue is resolved now. To make it work, I paused windows update and stopped following services temporary using Windows + R and Services.msc -

Background Intelligent Transfer Service

Cryptographic Services

Windows Update

With the above steps, the Windows Update process got killed. I restarted the above services and un-paused windows update, then everything worked fine again.
