Missing Store and Feedback Apps after Reset

After upgrading from Windows 10 Dev Channel to Windows 11, I had performance issues. I decided I'd rather "start fresh" so I ran a Reset with the "remove everything" option. I used the "reinstall from local files" option.

After the reset I went through the OOBE process and it was uneventful, but after landing on desktop I had no Store nor Feedback app, and I wasn't able to get them installed using PowerShell commands geared for Windows 10.

So I reset again, using the "cloud download" option. Again the OOBE was all perfect but after landing on desktop I have no Store nor Feedback app.

What is going on? I've not seen anyone else encounter this.

Edit 7/2/21: The Windows Insider team found a temporary solution, posted below.

The Windows Insider team was able to find a temporary workaround for the issue!

I had already tried running WSRESET command without success, but they asked me to run this command:

    wsreset -i

This opened a terminal window for a few moments, which then closed. At first it appeared it also was unsuccessful and the Store was still not found. However after about 2-3 minutes later, with no actual indication that any process was underway, the Store spontaneously opened up. From there I was also able to acquire the feedback hub.

They warned me that this is a per-user workaround, so it won't help other accounts on the same machine. It also has the side effect that the Store is unable to be updated so I'm stuck with an older version of the Store. However, at least it works!

I do not know what the -i command does, and wsreset /? does not yield any answers (I tried), but for now I'm at least able to install my many Store apps and participate in the feedback of Windows 11.

    wsreset -i

Also brought back my store after doing a clean install of Windows 11 Pro. Tried all other commands with no solution.

Ran wsreset -i from an elevated command prompt. Opened the notifications tray icon and Microsoft Store was installing. Install completed and all is well with Store.
