How to Change Default Apps Windows 11

I can't change the default app using explorer open with because the checkbox for always use this app is missing for both Photos and Videos.

    You should use Settings app to change file associations.

    Click Settings > Apps ( on the left pane )> Default apps ( on the right pane ). You can use Search for file type or you can scroll down the whole list of apps and file types.
