Is the badges and trophies received in this portal is similar to the acclaim badges.

No they are not really similar, Acclaim badges are more for completing certifications that are usually obtained by completing exams.

The badges here on the Microsoft Learning are mainly a showcase that you've completed Microsoft Learning modules, paths etc.
