Why has the "favorites" pull down menu got more complex  --  needing two clicks to access a favorite.  I use favorites numerous times a day.

    Hi IanWhalley

a couple of suggestions for you to consider

    1. turn on the Favourites bar, this will show favourites just below the address bar.

you can drag favourites to or from the favourites bar to the "other favourites folder on the right side of the bar.

Ctrl+Shit+B to toggle the favourites bar

    1. Ctrl+Shift+O to open "manage favourites" this will show favourites in a tab which can then pin so that it remains available. right click on the tab and select "pin tab"
    2. install an extension written for chrome that works just as well in Edge, to display favourites in a panel on the left side of the window.

click the ellipsis (...) and select extensions

at the bottom of the left panel, turn on "Allow extensions from other stores."

    then go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/bookm...

click the "add to chrome" button

you can also suggest improvements to the development team, from within edge Alt+Shift+I to leave feedback
