Why has the "favorites" pull down menu got more complex -- needing two clicks to access a favorite. I use favorites numerous times a day.

a couple of suggestions for you to consider
you can drag favourites to or from the favourites bar to the "other favourites folder on the right side of the bar.
Ctrl+Shit+B to toggle the favourites bar
click the ellipsis (...) and select extensions
at the bottom of the left panel, turn on "Allow extensions from other stores."
then go to https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/bookm...
click the "add to chrome" button
you can also suggest improvements to the development team, from within edge Alt+Shift+I to leave feedback
