I would like to turn on Live Captions for future use, but in my Microsoft Edge > Settings > Accessibility > Captions window, I do not have a Live Captions On button. I only have the option to change the caption style.

Thank you for the reply. Hopefully the feature lands soon in the Retail Builds too.

Thank you for your quick response. I was inquiring on behalf of my husband's computer. He has Windows 11 but I have the Eval copy installed through The Beta Channel, so that would explain the difference with this feature.

    Hi Kriss,
I am Sumit here to assist you with this question.

Microsoft has added live Captions feature in Windows 11 Beta Channel so I think the setting is for that. Hopefully it would be soon available in the Retail Builds.

To get started, live captions can be turned on with the WIN + Ctrl + L keyboard shortcut, or from the Accessibility flyout under Quick Settings. When turned on the first time, live captions will prompt for download of the required speech model to enable on-device captioning.
