    edge is not working

    I am having the same issue on one of my PC's

    Stuck on "Setting Up Sync" for the last two days.

    Have tried logging out and removing the profile, turning off sync and back on with a machine reboot between, and reinstalling microsoft edge.

    I have a similar situation and would like to confirm if this is designed to only sync between pc and other mobile devices? Cause i am using MS Edge on multiple laptops and the the sync settings are all same across the laptops. The passwords get synced, but the history & open tabs do not get synced, or I am not sure how to get the open tabs to sync.

    Is it completely not working or not syncing up?

    hi, even though i have enabled sync both on my pc and my phone that too with same account, i cant see my phone's history on pc's edge and vice versa.

    This is very troublig, only send this site to your pc feature works.

    Hi Slyvia, kindly check and try the steps below and see if it helps out.

    Method 1:

    • Check if Edge is updated by going to Settings (3 dots) > Help and Feedback > About Microsoft Edge
    • Check if issue will still persist afte an update has been applied

    Method 2:

    • Open C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application
    • Rename the msedge.exe to a different name and it can be anything other than its current name
    • Restart Edge
    • Check if issue will still persist
