Move Microsoft Edge Collection Items?

Question

I have started using the new Microsoft Edge Collections feature.  One of my collections is getting too large to easily manage.  Is there a way to  move items from one collection to another collection without deleting items from one collection and adding them to the new collection?

the ability to rename collections is currently available (version 83.0.487.37)

open the collection by clicking on it

click on the name (at the top, next to the return chevron)

type the new name and press enter

click the chevron to return to the list of collections

This does not move anything.

Good idea!

unfortunately, there is not an easy way to do it.

you can open selected links then save them to another collection, before deleting the originals

snippets you would need to export to excel or word and then paste them into the new collection.

it could do with an easy move or manage option.

you can suggest improvements to the development team, from within edge Alt+Shift+I.

hopefully we will see it in a future release.
